Action Plan Summary

You asked us to promote the profile of the non-NHS services available at Shelley Manor – We have already improved the range of different service providers and raised their profile with leaflets in consulting rooms and waiting areas. It is the Practice’s intention to install cabinets displaying information regarding the non-NHS services available.

You asked us to improve our website – We have worked on this and our new look website is live and constantly being updated with information from all sections of the Surgery.

You asked us to improve our visual communication – We plan to tidy up and increase the number of information boards with relevant, in-date, tidy posters.

You asked us to improve our communication lines with patients who do not visit the Practice – we are currently undergoing a project to collect and record patients’mobile phone numbers. These will be used to deliver Surgery information about services such as Flu Clinics via SMS

You asked us to look at our system for how patients access GPs – The Partners are currently considering introducing a triage system for handling patient calls, more information on this as it becomes available.
